Conditions & Prices

I. TRANSLATION

1. Conditions 

• Translation order is assigned by email or on-site at our office.
• The order is considered accepted and the deadline starts running after confirmation by ATI BG.
• If necessary, the Customer provides supporting materials (if available), a person for consultation and specifies his/her requirements regarding terminology, spelling of given names and company names, assists in deciphering of specific abbreviations and acronyms.
• Translations not collected in hard copy within one month of notification that they are ready shall be destroyed. This rule also applies to orders that have already been sent to the client electronically in scanned form but whose originals have not been collected from the office.

2. Prices  

• Prices are calculated per page based on already translated text. One translation page contains 1,800 characters with spaces.
• Standard orders with content of more than 4 translation pages per day are charged as fast.
• Fast orders with content of more than 4 translation pages per day are charged as express.
• In case of handwritten texts, prices increase depending on the degree of illegibility.
• Fast and express orders are accepted subject to availability. For groups V and VI, a longer execution time may be required even for a standard order.

 
Class A: municipal and other form documents in Bulgarian.
Class B: diplomas, academic transcripts, declarations, certificates, personal and company correspondence and similar non-specialized texts without terminology.
Class C: economic, accounting, legal documents and other specialized literature, medical documents with moderate content of terminology (e.g. patient’s chart, ambulatory sheets, immunization passports, etc.).
Class D: specialized medical texts – epicrises/discharge summaries, medical opinions, autopsies and similar, as well as strictly technical texts.
 
Additional services to the written translations:
Scanning of translations:
- up to 3 pages: free of charge
- from 4 to 40 pages: 0.30 EUR/page
- from 41 pages – not available
Printing/copying:
- Black and white: 0.10 EUR/page
- Colour: 0.70 EUR/page
Preparation of a second copy of the translation:
- For the first page on letterhead: 2 EUR/piece, subsequent pages at the prices for printing/copying.


II. INTERPRETING

1. Conditions

• Interpreting order is made at least 1 day before the event.
• The client provides the entire available information about the topic and the specific terminology. In the presence of specially prepared documents, presentations, etc., the same shall be provided in order for the interpreter to get acquainted with their content. 
• The location of the event and the program for the day are announced in advance.
• The time for which the translator is occupied is paid regardless of whether there is a genuine translation.
• The minimum commitment is one hour, after which the price is calculated at each half hour.
• All expenses of our associate (food and lodging for the night), for duration of more than 1 day, are charged to the customer.

III. BUSINESS ASSISTANCE

1. Conditions

• Business assistance order at different institutions is made at least 2 days in advance. 
• The minimum commitment is one hour, after which the price is calculated at each half hour.

IV. LEGALIZATION

The terms and prices for legalization of documents are formed by a complex scheme that depends on number of factors such as: the type of document, the state institutions that make the certifications, the courier costs and others.

For this reason, to determine the exact term and calculate the price, we ask you to make a specific request.
